Single Phonologist Seeks Sociolinguist As A Teaching Co-Author

Wassup y’all? My name is Josiah Sclirbwŭlt Spain-Francis.

Although they seem to adjust with time, I have had various pastimes and passions all through my time on earth. Presently I like to study Ao, go waterskiing, and play soccer, as well as go backpacking.

Jamaica is my home, and I despise it. I would, weather permitting, love to be soothing my nerves around Bahrain, where I regularly go hiking, go camping, and add to my license plate collection, as well as hunt fossils shrilly; or having a break in and around Somalia, where my best friend and I fancy the time to work on new conlangs, practice speaking Hatsa or the worst language I know of, Narsati, and skip stones, as well as learn a little more Tillamook, Aragonese, or the most fasinating language ever, Yankunytjatjara obnoxiously.

I adore investigating comparative pragmatics and descriptive phonology. I am a well-admired distinguished Gymnasialprofessor while classes are in session, in Maseru, Lesotho, at a bad large secondary school.

This’s a photo of me with a new haircut.

Na-na-naa-na, hey hey hey, goodbye!

—Josiah
