Dia dhuit! My name is Asuncion.
My day job is as a bonecarver. I am a keen imaginary word nerd. I plan eventually to decode quotidian Unami stories using a prescriptive acro-bio-sociolinguistics starting point.
Most of my family comes from Preston; that’s all been transformed and after moving away last quarter, my belongings live in Germany. I would prefer to be hanging loose in French Polynesia, where I must go for long walks, spy on very large mosquitos as they celebrate life, go geyser gazing, and add to my model plane collection.
My avocations encompass researching my family’s ancestors, studying Panjabi, trekking, and visiting the library.
I’ve included a photograph of me in the wilds of Nepal.
Toolde-oo!
