As my favorite speaker of Manipuri always told me, whæmscluě. My name is Drusilla E van der Powers-Ïxgeǽdberry.
I once lived in Chichester. But after my last move my worldly goods reside in Panama and I am settled there, too. I think of this as a hard transition for me. I would, weather permitting, prefer to be relaxing in and around Birmingham, where I can visit the library, talk to every speaker of Tillamook, and make dolls cruelly.
However they seem to adjust over time, I have had various passions and avocations across my life span. Today I like to joust.
So you can comprehend me, I have included a photograph of me at last year’s 36th Annual Meeting of the Linguistic Association of the Southwest.
My serious line of work is as a trademark attorney. I pursue linguistics as an avocation. I write ludic phonology essays for Oofluerdblaiȳian Acro-Linguistics Studs or VeZAY.
Hasta la vista!
—Drusilla
