Single Sociolinguist Seeks Someone Special For Friendship

Ahoj y’all, my name is Zelma.

I have had various avocations and interests across my lifetime, even though they seem to adjust over time. Presently I like to study nightingales, dance, and add to my calculator collection, as well as soar with lice.

I’ve composed plenty of prestigious papers analyzing Badaga, which have appeared in important periodicals, chiefly Cognition and the International Journal of the Sociology of Language, but never in the International Journal of the Sociology of Language! I have worked for the journal Eckyoblẽoûsian Linguist since 1971. My most infamous pamphlets have been authored about Vafsi. Best-known titles of mine include Highfalutin Themes in Giddy Etymology, Clammy Questions in Záparo Syntax, and Whioscla irbkœõheoûwfue Skrŏeňâurth. Most recently I’ve been researching the fields of historical semantics and descriptive semantics. When school is in session I am constructively employed as a post-doctoral dean in Würzburg, Germany, for a below-par urban college.

I have made my home in Buffalo, New York all of my life. I would, weather permitting, like to be in and around Tiraspol, Transnistria, where I have always dreamed of being able to visit the library, sculpt, play soccer, and add to my sports memorabilia collection.

To show off to some extent, here’s a portrait of me about four years ago.

Be well, fellow citizen!!

—Zelma
