The more you look at the data, the more it makes sense. Eventually, you realize that there is a diagram in the data. It isn’t that complex, and the symbols are all surprisingly familiar—you manage to build the device it describes, though you come to suspect a hoax.
Once the device is complete and powered up, you have misgivings about activating it.
Push the big obvious button on the device.
Ask your labmate what she thinks of the device.
