Frequently articles are submitted to SpecGram which simply can’t be published. Usually the main reason is either the article’s low quality of scholarship or its large quantity of words which are not to be repeated in polite company. Every once in a while, though, the problem is that an otherwise perfectly fine article is simply too long.
